Domains
Coming soonRegister new domains and transfer existing ones in, from the same dashboard as your zones. You are always the registrant. The auth code and unlocking are self-service, and the nameservers can point to your multi-provider set from day one.
Priced at the registry cost plus a margin, per extension. With auto-renewal on, renewals are billed automatically. Included in every paid plan.

Each plan includes everything in the plan before it. Managed mode is billed as a usage line: provider cost plus 20%.
Questions
- Is there a free plan?
- No. Every new organization starts with a 30-day trial: 1 zone, 2 providers, your own provider accounts, no card. When it ends, the organization becomes read-only until a plan is chosen; your zones keep resolving and export always works.
- What does "bring your own" mean?
- You connect provider accounts you already have (Route 53, OCI DNS, Google Cloud DNS, Azure DNS, Cloudflare) with least-privilege credentials. The providers bill you directly; RedundantDNS charges only the plan.
- What are managed providers?
- Provider accounts we run at AWS, OCI, Google Cloud, Azure and Cloudflare, so you do not need accounts of your own. They are available on every paid plan. We pass their cost through (zone fees and queries per million, as each provider reports them) at cost plus 20%, billed monthly and shown line by line on the invoice. - Does RedundantDNS ever delete my zones at a provider?
- Only when you detach a provider from a zone, choose to delete the remote zone and type the zone name to confirm. Failed payments and removed connections never delete a provider zone. Managed providers have one more case, explained in the next question.
- Can you remove my zone from a provider?
- In managed mode, yes: we may suspend or remove the zone from one specific provider when that provider asks us to, after an abuse report, or when the law requires it. We tell you first, or at the same time when the removal has to be immediate. We never delete the canonical zone: it keeps being served by the other providers, and you can move it to your own accounts. With your own accounts (bring your own), the provider accounts are yours. - My domain is registered at Cloudflare. Does it work?
- Cloudflare works as one of the providers of a zone. A domain registered at Cloudflare Registrar, though, can only use Cloudflare’s nameservers, so its apex stays on Cloudflare alone until the registration moves to another registrar. - What happens if a payment fails?
- Nothing changes for 7 days. After that the organization becomes read-only: your records keep being served by the providers, but the platform stops applying changes and shows a banner. After 30 days attachments are detached. Remote zones are never deleted.
- Are these prices final?
- Not yet. Plans open soon, and prices may change before the first paid plan is sold.
